November 15 爱在记忆中找你Lyrics to the current song u hear on tis space, known to TVB Drive Of Life fans as the subtheme, specifically for Lin Feng and Ah Sheh Quite an addictive series, no boring draggy parts as yet, am just slightly over the halfway mark for this 60-parter! Saw folks comparing between Lin Feng's Chun Pong and his role as Alfred in Heart of Greed, so which u prefer? Haha guess I'm just talking Greek to most of you so let's move on, whil Ah Jer thanks u oredi answered me Like the lyrics - sums their relationship well and Lin Feng is easily the best singer in his batch, emotes well and for a guy, he can cry well keke Speaking of which his English love theme with Linda Chung was touching too, might use that as my next blog song! (if you ever get to read this)  May 30 Grasshopper Forever, SG Gig 19 May 07Quite a few have been asking me how was their concert and no, I'm not addressing those who regard them as passe uncles or worse, insects (so rude, u shd b ashamed) so I thought I'll just round up my comments with some pics
Mighty glad I watched this cos it turned out to be awesome and memorable; from the well-planned songset, energetic and slick choreography to the sincere and easy banter as their strong vocals charmed down memory lane with the much-loved tunes that roused us on our feet.
Of cos it helped to be armed with neon sticks and a livewire helium filled pretty tweety as company (hehe compliment mah)
They pranced for 3 hours and never a dull moment, and everyone was so envious of this lucky lass who got to engage in close close close contact with them. Unfortunately she was either too shy or too tense to dance though they led her well....V shd hv gone instead I can imagine our cheongster queen doing better (c, another compliment haha)
Anyway I can't even begin to name my fav tunes or highlights of the night cos everything was superb! For once there was no technical blemish @ Indoor Stadium and my seat was good too. Grasshopper was very professional and can see they put in their best for every show, not just at their homeground. But I'm convinced to catch their HK gig someday cos they're more daring there...they toned down a lot for SG, check out my pics to c what I mean.

October 12 Big Band Buble Land!Michael Buble Live in Singapore 10 Oct 2005
National Indoor Stadium Just some mins into our rather hard seats after scurrying for parking and dashing to the entrance, Buble clad in his usual black suit, white shirt and skinny tie ensemble opened with "Feeling Good" from Spidey 2, which I find sounds more like a theme from an espionage flick.
And then began the nite which belonged to Buble - he sang, joked, entertained and charmed his way into the hearts of many, female fans mostly but he did claim there was a guy who grabbed his arse when he suddenly jumped off stage and leapt across all barricades to quickly meet and greet, even right up to where we were sitting (the modest $58 seats).
This, and other moves seemed very spontaneous but of course, the real credit would have to go to him and the whole crew for making it so well-orchestrated that it just looked so off-the-cuff.
Buble first said he just wrote a song backstage and would like to perform it acapella style - which turned out to be a dig at the fans using their camera flashes, buy hey nothing is too dazzling for Buble boy! True enough, after his satire-laced ditty, he more than made up by saying "You can take all the pictures you want cos I only get to see you all once in a while". And you bet many girls awwwed and swooned.
This baby faced lad then appealed to the guys by playing cool and lapped up all the attention by posing for the cameras with the rest of his band and showing some the Blue Steel look ala Zoolander.
He warmed the audience by specially thanking the guys who came with their female companions, with some self-deprecating humour, which basically had him mimicking a girly voice "Oooh let's go watch Michael Buble" then the macho voice in the head that said "Screw Michael Buble, that silly wanker! I'll rather be home watching TV!"
And so started the night with a sex related joke bordering on incest, done pretty tastefully and cheekily though and he tickled with impersonations of many like Ray Charles with his signature move of swaying his head from side to side rather forcefully when he croons, to Elvis Presley with his mic stand and even The Gloved One just short of the moonwalk and crotch grabbing.
He then playfully chided the audience by saying Ray Charles only got polite claps while everyone cheered when he sang like MJ! Then being politically correct, he apologised to those who thought it was a classy show and upon knowing there was a 6-yr old gal in the house, he apologised even more profusely while pleading with the parents not to sue and even started belting a few lines of some nursery song! Haha, and I must say he got it spot on when he teased whether some of us were fans of NKOTB and Take That! (ahem, yes me) He impressed with his comic timing, acting and versatility, even singing opera to challenge Josh Groban and Maroon 5's This Love, which of cos got the crowd clapping, tapping and singing along. At times, it does get a bit over the top with his vocal tricks and you get the feeling like this man sooo loves himself! He showed off his vocal prowess and control, with each note quite pitch perfect albeit the sound system was not that fantastic and oh I must say this is the 1st indoor stadium concert I've attended with no TV screens switched on and zoomed on him. Goodness me, at our distance, he was the height of Stuart Little!
On a more serious note, Buble does deliver the music well and is a competent interpretor of the swinging standards but the show was a tad too short at barely 90min (and it's not a lot of singing time if you factor in his attempts at stand-up comedy and such). Sigh, he didn't sing my 3 favs - Mack The Knife, Kissing A Fool and Put Your Head On My Shoulder. No doubt, it was a slick show with everything that makes audiences tick but somehow you can't help wondering that sometimes, would it be better for the music to speak more for itself?
But oh well, makes for mighty monday entertainment and with Buble's winsome ways, all is forgiven

Dug it out and included it in a car tunes compilation - love it!
Simple guitar melody and erm, just like what Xu Huan Liang (aka Project Superstar judge Billy Koh) says - all Lee Hom songs have groove, even the slow songs like this.
